Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE)
Calibrator
IVD
Store at 2 - 8ºC
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
ACE CAL is a human lyophilised serum.
ACE Calibrator is intended to be used with ACE
Liquid Reagent for the preparation of the calibration
curve for the kinetic determination of angiotensin
converting enzyme (ACE) assay in human serum or
plasma.
PRECAUTIONS
Human based serum from selected donors was
used in the manufacturing of this product. Each
donor unit was tested with FDA licensed reagents
and found non-reactive for HBsAg, HCV, HIV1 and
HIV2 antibodies. Because no test method can offer
complete assurance that human blood derived
products will not transmit infectious agents, it is
recommended that this product be handled with the
same precautions used for patient specimens.
PREPARATION
-Reconstitute () with 1,0 mL of distilled water.
-Dissolve contents completely within 5 to 10 min. by
swirling gently, avoiding foam forming. Do not
shake.
We recommend preparing the sera protected from
light.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The calibrator is stable until the expiration date on
the label when stored tightly closed at 2-8ºC and
contaminations are prevented during their use. Do
not use reagents over the expiration date or if there
is visible evidence of microbial grown. Store
calibrators tightly capped when not use.
Discard the CONTROL in case of evident microbial
contamination.
After reconstitution is stable for:
At 2ºC to 8ºC 7 days.
