PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The calibrator is a solution from human origin containing an
albumin concentration suitable for the calibration of
microalbumin determination by turbidimetry method.
REAGENTS
µALB-CAL Calibrator. Human albumin solution. Preservative.
Albumin concentration is stated on the vial label.
PRECAUTIONS
Components from human origin have been tested and
found negative for the presence of HBsAg, HCV and
antibody to HIV (1/2). However, handle cautiously as
potentially infectious.
CALIBRATION
The concentration value of the Calibrator has been
standardized against the International Reference Material
ERM-DA 470K/IFCC.
PREPARATION
Ready for use.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The calibrator is stable until the expiration date on the label
when stored tightly closed at 2-8ºC and contaminations are
prevented during their use.
Do not use reagents over the
expiration date.
PROCEDURE
To be used in turbidimetric assays.
