The Adenosine Deaminase Control is used for quality control
procedures in examining the accuracy of quantitative
adenosine deaminase assays.
The adenosine deaminase control is prepared in a bovine serum
base, provided in lyophilized powder.
PRECAUTIONS
Product contains highly purified bovine source material from nonBSE-countries. The manufacturing facility does not receive, store
or process ruminant materials from restricted countries.
Possible infectious agents in the materials have been inactivated.
Because no method can offer complete assurance as to the
absence of infectious agents, this material should be handled as
thought capable of transmitting infectious disease and disposed as
biohazard waste or medical waste according to applicable local
and national laws.
PREPARATION
Open one vial carefully to avoid any loss of material and
reconstitute with exactly 1 mL of distilled water. Close the vial
and let stand for 30 min. at room temperature, dissolving
contents completely by gently swirling or rotating.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The lyophilized powder (not reconstituted) is stable until the
expiration date indicated on the label when stored at 2-8ºC.
Once reconstituted, the components of the serum are stable for 1
week at 2-8ºC.
