PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The Ammonia Ethanol control is a human liquid control serum.
Is intended for quality control procedures in examining the
accuracy and precision of quantitative Ammonia and Alcohol assays.
For in vitro diagnostic use only.
PRECAUTIONS
Each donor unit in the preparation of this material was tested
by FDA-approved method and found negative for Human
Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV 1, HIV 2) antibody, Hepatitis B
Surface Antigen (HbsAg), and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV)
antibody. However this material and all patient samples should
be handled as if potentially infectious and disposed accordingly.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The Control serum is stable until the expiration date on the label
when stored tightly closed at 2-8ºC and contaminations are
prevented during their use.
Once opened, the product is stable for 30 days at 2-8ºC. Only the
required amount of product should be removed. After use, any
residual product should NOT BE RETURNED to the original vial.
