PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The calibrator is for determination of Total
Bilirubin concentration in human serum.
REAGENTS
Animal serum in stabilized buffer.
The bilirubin concentration is stating on the vial
label.
PRECAUTIONS
These serums have been prepared with
materials of animal origin, however, it is
recommended to handle the samples and
serum with due care.
PREPARATION
1. Open the bottle carefully, to avoid loss of
lyophilized.
2. Reconstitute the lyophilised vial with 1 mL
distilled water.
3. Mix thoroughly, avoiding foam forming. Wait for
30 minutes before use.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The calibrator is stable until the expiration date
on the label when stored tightly closed at 2-8ºC
and contaminations are prevented during their
use.
Do not use reagents over the expiration date.
The stability after reconstitution is 2 months at -
20ºC.
Bacterial contamination of the reconstituted
calibrator will cause reductions in the stability of
many components.
NOTES
Bilirubin in serum is light sensitive and it is
recommended to be stored in dark.
